Program
on Internet & Telecoms Convergence
The Program
on Internet & Telecoms Convergence (ITC) aims to further the Internet's
evolution by clearly identifying economic, technical, or policy-related
hurdles, articulating relevant issues and approaches, and shaping solutions
in conjunction with its industry partners.
ITC research focuses
on uncertainties in the Internet's evolution, organized around three key
areas: user devices, network access, and global backbone transport.
ITC's methods bring
together industry practitioners and business-savvy academics to collaborate
on problems that can't be solved by engineers, policymakers, or corporate
strategists alone. ITC participants gain valuable insight, tools, and
technologies, strategies and tactics for the evolving Internet economy.
