Combine scallions, parsley, onion, tomato paste, shallots, and hot peppers to form a paste 2. Heat oil medium heat and add seasoning paste, and beans 3. Add water, thyme, parsley, and bring to boiling 4. Cover and simmer for 2 hours, or until beans are tender 5. Process beans and juice in an electric blender or force through a strainer 6. Return sauce to low heat and season to taste Cooking time: 2 hours. Serves: 8
