Inauguration Weekend
Sunday, Jan 18: We are one concert

In front of where the parade will take place in front of the White House (to the right, off picture).

Nothing like a military Humvee to make everyone in the crowd to feel safe.

Concert takes place in front of the Lincoln memorial. Unfortunately this is about as close as we get, in front of the Washington Monument.

At least we have a view of a jumbotron, which is next to the WWII memorial.

Yup, that’s our view. Nevertheless, it was a great time. I think I saw them… I think.

New President = free taco’s. It’s a great nation.

Inauguration day: We’re blocks away from the mall, and it’s a jam packed crowd.

Sometimes unique hats help to guide you in case you get lost from the group.

Here’s our spot. Don’t worry, we’re actually in front of the monument facing the capital.

Lawrence takes a snack break while waiting for the Inauguration to start.

That’s our view. We can see the capital, can you?

Official swearing in ceremony! (see Barack on the jumbotron?)

The times were cold, the crowds were large, but history was made and we were there. (including nate, taking the picture)
