Trip to Scotland for 2008 IAC, International Astronautical Congress, held in Glasgow

 

No trip to Europe is complete without dropping by the Harrods at Heathrow

It was quite rainy in Scotland. 

 

At the Kelvingrove museum in Glasgow

 

I got to meet Dr. Soyeon Yi, 1st Korean Astronaut.

 

On the “Bonnie Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond

 

In the seaside town of Oban, where we had fish and chips (and pita),

waiting for the rain to eventually fall

 

We passed by the ruins of Kilchurn Castle. Note the dramatic scenery.

 

A visit to Inveraray Castle, which turned out to be quite overrated.
