I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Laboratory for Atomistic and Molecular Mechanics (LAMM) in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, working in Professor Markus Buehler's lab.
I received my PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2014 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My dissertation, Multiscale Modeling of Clay Water Systems, was co-advised by Professor Andrew Whittle and Professor Roland Pellenq.
I am interested in using the molecular simulation and multiscale modeling techniques to improve our knowledge of the behavior of natural or synthetic materials. The goal would be to understand the reasons behind certain behaviors, to improve our modeling capabilities and to design functional materials with tunable properties.
