Open Post-doc Position: Stochastic Nonlinear Dynamics of Cellular Networks

Del Vecchio's group seeks a highly talented and motivated individual with expertise in nonlinear dynamical systems, stochastic modeling and stochastic analysis tools to work on a project at the intersection of stochastic dynamics, networks, and resource-constrained cellular systems. Applicants should have a PhD in controls, applied mathematics, electrical or mechanical engineering, or closely related fields. The applicant is expected to work also in collaboration with other group members. Some familiarity with cellular network models and dynamics is preferred but not necessary. The position is initially for one year and can be extended for a second year depending on performance and availability of funds. The position can start as soon as January 2016. Interested individuals should send their CV to ddv@mit.edu.
