Pre-registered guests may sign in on April 13, 2006 from
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Pre-registration is required; on-site registration will not be
available.
We are aware that the event takes place during passover and we will accomodate anyone who needs a kosher meal, we ask that you indicate this special request at the time of registration.
The Hyatt Regency is located on the West end of the MIT
campus, about a 10-minute walk or 3-minute shuttle ride from 77
Massachusetts
Avenue.
Tech Shuttle from MIT Campus
MIT's free Tech
Shuttle runs approximately every 20 minutes around campus. Take
the shuttle to Audrey Street (stop #6 on the map), and walk one
block West along the Charles River on Memorial Drive. The Hyatt
will be on your right at the light.
From Logan Airport
Follow signs to Boston via Sumner Tunnel. After you come out of
the tunnel take exit 26A - "Storrow Drive/ Back Bay/Cambridge."
Keep left, go onto Storrow Drive. Go 3/4 mile and take exit on left-hand
side (Government Center/Kendall Square). At the top of the ramp
take a right over the Longfellow Bridge, at the end of the bridge
turn right onto Memorial Drive West (Rt.3 North). Stay on Memorial
Drive approximately 1 and 1/2 miles; at the third traffic light
turn right, the entrance to the Hyatt will be on your left. During
non-rush hour, the ride will take about 15-20 minutes. During rush
hour, the ride could take 30+ minutes.
Parking: Parking is available at the hotel for a fee.
Taxi: Fare from the airport is about $15-20.
Via Public Transportation - MBTA ("The
T")
The subway ride from Logan involves several transfers. From any
terminal at Logan airport, take the airport shuttle bus to the Blue
Line subway station. Take the Blue Line to the Government Center
station and go upstairs to and take the Green Line trolley to Park
Street. At the Park Street station, go downstairs and take the Red
Line subway to Kendall/MIT (take the outbound train toward Alewife).
Under normal conditions the ride will take about one-half hour.
From there, take a cab or hop on the Tech Shuttle (see above).
IdeaStream 2006 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge.
The Hyatt offers a dramatic setting along the Charles River, adjacent
to MIT. A spectacular 16-story atrium overlooks the Boston skyline
and is the convenient choice for the symposium. There is an MIT

the "T" in the heart of Kendall Square. It is a 20 minute
