Reservation and Cancellation Procedures |

If you would like to make a reservation, arrange a site visit, or just ask a question, please contact us at 617-253-2111. Please confirm your reservation with a deposit and a signed copy of the event order within 14 days of the initial booking and no less than three weeks prior to the event date; reservations made within three weeks of the event date must be confirmed at the time of booking. There is a 50-guest minimum and a non-refundable deposit required for weekend events. |
Alcoholic

| The MIT
Faculty Club is the only licensed authority to sell and serve
alcoholic beverages for consumption at the club. We can accommodate
all of your beverage needs including fine wines, premium liquors,
champagne and aperitifs. In accordance with the City of Cambridge
law, liquor may not be removed from the premises during or following
an event. Please ask your catering manager for more information

Event Planning |
A catering sales manager will contact you approximately one month prior to your event to discuss all details and menu arrangements; in order to plan appropriately for your event, details must be finalized no less than three weeks prior to the event. The Faculty Club at MIT is happy to accommodate prearranged dietary, ethnic and/or religious menu requirements. Our Executive Chef creates monthly specials showcasing New England’s freshest seasonal ingredients including produce, seafood and meat. All menu prices are per person unless otherwise noted. If choosing a plated meal, you may select a maximum of two entrees (plus one vegetarian entree) to offer your guests – please keep in mind that the highest entrée price prevails for all guests. A final guest count guarantee, along with final payment, is due three business days prior to the event. The final bill will reflect the guarantee or actual number of guests, whichever is greater. The Faculty Club at MIT gladly accepts MIT Purchasing Cards, Requisitions, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash and checks. We are happy to coordinate specialty linen and floral arrangements to enhance your event. |

Miscellaneous |
All charges are subject to a 5% Massachusetts sales tax where applicable. Events held on holidays or holiday weekends will incur a surcharge, which will be determined based upon the timing and nature of your event. Pricing is subject to change.
The MIT Faculty Club is the only licensed authority to sell and serve food and beverage for consumption at the Club. All food will be prepared by our expert culinary team. In accordance with City of Cambridge law and Health Department regulations, no food or beverage may be removed from the premises following an event.
Please note that we cannot confirm or execute your event without final payment, which is due three business days prior to your event.
Social Event Booking Guidelines
Specifications
- Final menu selections and all function arrangements are due four weeks prior to the event
- The final guest count guarantee is due three business days prior to the event.
- The final bill will reflect either the guarantee or the actual number of guests, whichever is higher.
- The MIT Faculty Club may assess a room rental / set-up fee for the use of each of its dining rooms.
- Weekend events require a fifty-guest minimum and a non-refundable deposit.
Deposits, Billing & Cancellations
- A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent of the proposed total is required thirty days prior to your event. This amount will be applied to the final total. Acceptable forms of payment include checks, cash, and credit cards
- The balance is due three business days prior to your event, along with the final guest count guarantee.
- Any discrepancies of charges must be identified and resolved when submitting final payment.
- All food and beverage charges are subject to 5% Massachusetts state tax.
- If cancellation becomes necessary, all monies paid to date are non-refundable.
