student dining committees
Love the food? Hate it? Do something about your food choices on campus! Our service and operations depend on the wants and needs of the community. Students with a particular interest in dining can speak to or seek leadership roles with the Undergraduate Association (UA), Dormitory Committee (DormCom) or by serving as a representative on their house dining committee. These groups help plan events, gather information, and offer guidance to our office.
We, of course, also welcome parent questions, comments and feedback. You may contact Campus Dining directly at 617-253-4785 or by using the "comments" page in the column to the left...
The Undergraduate Association Dining Committee
The Undergraduate Association
Dining Committee serves to represent the dining interests of all
MIT undergraduate students whether they live in a dormitory, in a FSILG,
or off-campus. It's membership is open to any member of the undergraduate
population who wishes to help ensure a quality eating environment for
all students. It is a subcommittee of the UA Committee on Student Life
and addresses the effects of dining on student life issues. The Committee
builds student consensus and works with the Campus Dining Board and
the Office of Campus Dining in an advisory role.
The UA Dining Committee addresses many issues ranging from advocating for specific
menu changes to changing hours of operation to discussing the overall MIT dining
system. If you have a concern about campus dining, a suggestion for something
that needs to change, or just want to know what's going on with dining at MIT;
attend a meeting or email ua-dining-chairs@mit.edu.
