dining dollars

Dining Dollars are accepted wherever you see the MIT Campus Dining logo. A Dining Dollars debit account is your  best  way to manage and track your expenses strictly for meal purchases. The Dining Dollars account can be used in all dining halls, restaurants, food courts and cafes on campus. This account can also be use in card reader-equipped vending machines and for late night pizza delivery. We suggest that you allocate about $20 per day for meals. Over a 15-16 week semester this works out to about $2,150.

Note: Many MIT students rise late and work late interchanging and/or combining breakfast and late night meals to fit their schedules. You can deposit funds in a Dining Dollars account online at http://web.mit.edu/mitcard
