house dining membership
The House Dining Membership (HDM, formerly Preferred Dining) is a program that works with Dining Dollars and TechCASH declining balance accounts. The HDM fee is $300. It supports programming and services in the House Dining Rooms. Once enrolled, members enjoy a 50% discount on meal purchases in House Dining locations (Ashdown, Next, Simmons, Baker and McCormick), at the Simmons Late Night Café and for Friday Sabbath dinners at Kosher Dining.
All students who choose to reside in a residence with a House Dining operation are required to participate in the program and will billed the semester membership fee. All other MIT Community Members may enroll on a voluntary basis.
