I am currently working with Prof. Gareth McKinley (Non-Newtonian Fluids Group, MIT) and
Prof. Kripa Varanasi (Varanasi Research Group, MIT) on "Oil-water separation using surface modified membranes".
I obtained my Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras, India in 2012. I worked with Prof. Sarit K. Das and Prof. Dhiman Chatterjee for my bachelors thesis which was on examining the "Effects of Acoustic Cavitation on Pool boiling of Nanofluids".
My interests broadly lie in Fluid mechanics and Heat transfer. Some of the areas that I am interested in include Superhydrophobic and Superoleophobic surfaces, Boiling, Micro and Nano-textured surfaces and Nanofluids.
