You are looking at the personal website of Ajit Dash. I am a post-doctoral researcher in the Biological Engineering Division at MIT. I work in the laboratories of Steven R Tannenbaum and Linda Griffith and work on a 3-D in-vitro liver model.

I'm originally from Cuttack, India, where I graduated in medicine sometime in the last century. I went on to do my residency in Pharmacology at KEM hospital, Mumbai, before stepping into the pharmaceutical industry. After a interesting stint as a Medical Advisor at Pfizer, I decided to leverage my clinical research experience with basic research and ended up joining MIT. The entire process has been a fascinating journey, both on the professional front, of viewing the drug development process from different perspectives, as well as the personal front of experiencing different cultures and people.
