Brethren:

I was going through some old files, and found that in the past, each of you had expressed an interest in our Tennessee Masonic Partnership with HABITAT for HUMANITY. This email is to give you an update on our very successful program, and some new URL's where information can be found.

This program has been very successful. It has made us visible in our communities, gotten inactive brethren interested in taking part in Lodge activities, and helped us get new members! The first HABITAT house sponsored and build all by Masons will start construction in Knoxville in April. This has been an effort of the District 20 Masonic Association (Knox, Union and Sevier counties). Following this effort, we are starting a new program of sponsoring and building a house each year (and other locations as funds permit) in the Grand Master's Home region. This is being called THE GRAND MASTER'S WORK PROJECT. I have set up a new separate home page for this project. It links to other Vison 2013 and Tennessee activity pages. We have a pin available for a $10 donation--the cost of 1/3 square foot of a typical HFH house. Please see: http://www.gmwp.org/1999/pin.html.
