Dear Brothers,

From the time I could remember I would see my grandfather leave the house all dressed up (in his tux) and a big black bag. Being only six or seven years old at the time didn't mean anything to me.

I did remember at Christmas time my brother and myself would have to go bed early as every year my mother would make sandwiches and treats for some friends of his who would come to the house, I later found it was Past Masters as well as the officers for the following year.

I remembered seeing his Masonic Certificate in a fancy frame on the hall wall but took years before I read it and asked what it was for. He being from the old school would just smile. I asked my mother, she explained as best she could.

When in my late teens I found my older brother had become a member then found my uncle had alsobeen a member for years. Both whom I had great respect for. My grandfather was a Master in 1930 and V W when he passed away. He had a masonic funeral which filled the room I was very impressed.

To make a long story short I am in my 33rd year as a mason and have enjoyed every minute even though I never sat in the chair of K S.

If anyone reading this is considering becoming a mason you only get out of it what you put into it and it has never done anyone any harm.

Regards to all
Bro Dan Campbell
