A person claiming to be Warren Henton, is making phone calls to Masonic families. He introduces himself as the secetary of Caribou Lodge No.84 here in Idaho. He goes on to state that the Worshipful Master of that Lodge has had a heart attack and is in the hospital. The Worshipful Master's family, enroute to the hospital, has encountered automobile problems and needs $80 to $100 to reach the bedside of their loved one. He goes on to claim that the Lodge will guarantee the return of the "loan". This individual is traveling with a woman and two children in an older model station wagon. The "Lodge phone number" that he gives for verification purposes is the phone number of the IOOF hall in Idaho Falls. Warren Henton was the Secetary of Caribou Lodge No.84 but he died in July of 1991. The Worshipful Master of Caribou Lodge No. 84 is in good health and not in the hospital. Beware of this scam!!! Verify any information concerning the need for Masonic Relief. A tru Mason will appreciate you taking the time to verify the situation. This scam is similar one that was working across the U.S. several years ago. The person was using the name Wilkerson or Wildinson. It is believed that it is the same Person. This bulletion issued the 17th day of August by Joseph F. Hanig Grand Secretary Grand Lodge of Idaho A.F. & A. M.
