Message:: I have a sword that is engraved with the name M.H Glatfelter on one side and the words Noble Commander No.360 on the other. It was made by Louis E. Stilz & Bros in Philadelphia, PA. The sword has a knights head on the end and numerous red crosses and a crown with a red cross in the middle of it. Could you please tell me how old this sword is and the full name of the owner? Message:: My fraternal Greetings to our Brothers. I was with the Grand Lodge of the Philippines (GLP)for more than 10 years as I joined between 1995 and 1996. I'm a Past Master of Indang Lodge No. 115 located at Indang, Cavite(year 2000) and Past Lodge Inspector of Pilar Lodge no. 8 (appointed by GLP in 2001. Because of issues the Grand Lodge of the Philippines can not address such as unjustified suspensions and expulsions by then GM Yu, another Grand Lodge called The Independent Grand Lodge of the Philippine Islands was born comprising of brothers who were victims of GM Romy Yu's unmasonic acts. Instead of addressing the issues surrounding him during the time he "campaigned" as Junior Warden of GLP by which brothers from Cavite brought about the charges of electioneering, with a stroke of his hand issued certain unreasonable edicts failing to maintain harmony among masons on Philippine soil. I really would appreciate communication from a brother/s from your end. For all we know, we meet, act and part the same way. I hope that thru this, our brothers from abroad will be enlightened on issues and concerns haunting Philippines Masonry until today. All we can do at the Independent Grand Lodge of the Philippine Isalnds at the moment is to live by example what and who a true and real mason is. Message:: My great Great Grandfather was a Jr. Councilor for the McAdenville Council 10 in North Carolina. I recently found an old medal of his. It has the Freemason Arm and Hammer symbol and it says Jr.O.U.A.M. on it. can you tell me what this means? I am very interested.

Message:: I am and have been interested since childhood in becoming a mason. Born 1981, in Greenville,SC,my step DAD, Harold D. Gentry, is a mason and i attended a lodge with him as a youngster. Since moving to ohio i have truly sought the meaning of life and learned what it means to stand on my own two feet and survive legally as a man, and to be at peace with myself. Howevever, upon my own opinion and past self destruction, i dont think i am eligiable.(hope im wrong) Meaning i have done very bad things in life as far as my criminal record goes. The worst being bank robbery. I have accepted that life is about choices and not predestined, and have since then tried to better myself thru society, although many doors have been slammed shut to me. Even the Government wont let me join the services, and my past decisions anger me because of all the mistakes i made as a young adult. However, i stay morally stong, ambitious, and in hope of meeting the Right One in helping me in ! all my distress and suffering. I am in the process of obtaining a petition from the Youngstown Masonic Temple, but am discouraged by my own self-pity and embarrassed by my criminal record. THis website has been the most helpful and True doctrine i have encountered.(thanx to the creator)~I will be a great tool and strive to be a topknotch Mason if ever given the chance, because i care about the community and well-being of family and others.
