I consider myself a very open-minded person however I am very skeptical of masonry. My current boyfriend is the worshipful master of his masonic lodge so I have had some experience first hand. My question deals with the conflict between christianity and masonry. I have been told by a christian friend of mine who has studied the history of masonry that it honors the devil but that its members are not aware of it until they are further into the lodge and philosophy, that its original founder slew christians and that the purpose behind the founding of masonry was to get people to serve the devil deceptively by making them think they are honoring God. Please send me any information you have concerning the original founder of masonry and its philosophy. This question has bothered me and I have found no answer.

Didn't you just write to me last week using a different name? This is the second letter I have gotten that started "I consider myself a very open-minded person however I am very skeptical of masonry. My current boyfriend is the worshipful master of his masonic" etc.
There is no conflict between any religion and Masonry. You have been given a pack of lies by somebody, for reasons I can only guess at. My entire web-site is open before you. Read and learn. If you don't believe anything there, then ask yourself if you'll believe anything I could tell you either?
The fact that you use one email account to send your message and yet sign your name iwth another is also kind of suspicious. Is this some kind of church project to write to "evil Masons"?
