Message:: Hello! I am doing research about the wreck of a ship from Northern Ireland here in Maine in 1741. The term "Grand Design" figures prominently in some of the accounts, one evn has it as the name of the ship. I understand that this is a Masonic term. Does anyone have any ideas about the connection? Could this emigration have been organized by Masons?
