RQFC Details: I'm doing research on the association of the Knights of Templar and the Masons. Is it true that the Masons were started by the remaining Knights of Templar after their execution. Is there any truth behind the myth that the Knights of Templar found a new gospel called the "Gospel of Jesus" and that this was hidden? I appreciate any help that can be given.

I have a ring here that was given to him in 1950. On the band it has his name and W M after that I wanted to know what that meant.
