Subject: Why I Joined Freemasonry
My name is lary sales of oklahoma, I want to respond to your question
of what does freemasonry offer that society dont? freemasonry offers you
a part of history that no one tells you. when you are made a mason you
now have millions of brothers who will help you when you need help. why
did I become a mason? Its not because im fifth generation mason. I was
curious about what it was and why my family believed so much in
masonry. when I was made an E.A. I finally understud why my family
supported me in my persuit in the lodge. I now have the honor and
responsibility to uphold the oath I took. I better understand what
charity is, what pride, honor and dignity is. T tell you the truth I
would recommend that somebody check this out and see for your self check
both sides of the coin, sure there are anti masons but check out both
stories before you make a desicion.
I am an oklahoma freemason, the reason I joined was not to uphold a
honored family tradition, but to experience what pride my family
feels. As I was made an entered aprentice something about me changed my
whole attitude and demeanor changed. I finally knew what my grandpaw and
my dad were saying. I highly support my lodge and I would do anything
for it If I was asked. the worshipful master asked me what my goal was I
said to become worshipful master of the lodge I now attend. My real goal
would be is to become Grand Master of Oklahoma.
