Why did you become a Freemason?

Subject: Why I Joined Freemasonry

I am a 39 year old man, a father of a small boy, and the son of a Mason. Since I can remember my father has participated in one way or another in the lodge. He has never tried to recruit me in the fraternity, but has watched me wonder. Finally I asked him what it was all about. I seen him and the brothers together and said to myself, that those guys have something, and I want it. 3 months ago I asked how I can become a a mason, and my dad said that this is the first step, To ask. I'll be taking my fellowship in about a week. GOD is great!
