Subject: Why I Joined Freemasonry
For many years the Craft's existence eluded me as I had no personal
reference in which to make an evaluation.
However with the passing of time I became increasingly curious and
spent many months searching for more information.
One does not have the full extension of how Masonry can help mankind
until one joins and begins the learning journey that will last a
lifetime. I became an Apprentice Mason in Feb. 02 of this year and after
a lot of studying and over 40 Lodge meetings, passed my Fellow craft
exams last week. I can not remember feeling so proud in a long time.
Masonry will make a good man better for himself, his family , his
Brotherhood and society as a whole in a way that escapes description .
You can only live it to understand. The bond that holds our Brotherhood
together is in fact secular and without equal.
While rich in history, philosophy , logic and rhetoric. the Masonic
teachings will make a Brother more tolerant and persistent thru constant
enlightenment and the company and fine example set by senior
