Dear Brethren,
I am a recently raised master mason at 23 years old. I remember as a
young child, my father, my grandfather, and just about every one of
their respectable friends were masons. It wasn't till years later, I
realized that these men were the best men I had ever met, and I should
strive to be a better man.
After thinking about this, I realized what all of these men had in
common. They were all masons. I finally asked my father for a petition
on Christmas day this past year, and I was raised on June 2. I have had
no second thoughts or regrets about my decision. The only thing I notice
is that I am becoming a better and more responsible man.
I am a member of Fort Benning Lodge #579 of Columbus, GA working
under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Georgia.
