I joined Freemasonry to be part of a positive brotherhood and to make
a difference in my community.
My grandfather had been a freemason, and he was the man I admire most
of all the people I met. He was charismatic, a leader, a good husband,
a good father, and ultimately happy with himself and the world he had
created for himself.
I know that many freemasons are older and the organization is in
danger of simply dying off. I have committed myself to promoting this
community and individual welfare organization to make life better for
others as well as myself. I was an unhappy person, and being part of a
brotherhood where I can truly be at ease it something I enjoy greatly,
as well as being with people I know I can trust.
The world is a very uncertain place, and Freemasonry provides me with
a beacon of light and hope that allows me to honor the memory of my
Grandfather, make myself happy, and provide a better future for my
Masonic and non-Masonic brethren.
