Subject: Why I Joined Freemasonry
Ever since I was a young kid, being raised in my parents faith, I
always new in my heart of hearts that a loving God would not exclude a
good man, based simply on his choice of religious expression, dogma,
color of skin, or ethnicity.
Like most people my age ( 35 ) I first heard of the Craft from
negative press, the ravings of the "Aluminum hat" crowd, and various
other bigots. It didn't take me long, after visiting a few libraries,
and talking to a few Masons, to see through the paranoia to the truth
and beauty of Freemasonry, and what it actually represents: a
brotherhood of man, democracy, reason, charity, and spiritual
development, where ALL men meet on the Level.
My only regret is that I didn't get join the Masons years ago.
