SQUID ATTACK!

 Captain Nemo (from speaker): "We are under attack by the GIANT SQUID!!!"
 

The stars are just a distraction. The most recognizable constellations are placed on the right-hand side, including the North Star. As everyone is looking up at the stars, the squid is unveiled on the left-hand side of the vessel.
