What is the Infinite Mile?

The Infinite Mile Award was established in 2001 as part of a larger Institute-wide Rewards and Recognition program. This award is given in acknowledgment of the dedication and effective action of employees in more than twenty departments throughout MIT.

Within the Division of Student Life, this award signifies dedication to shared success , student programs and services , standards of excellence, and developing students and staff. An award ceremony to honor all of MIT's Infinite Mile award recipients is held each year in June.

The due date for 2007 Infinite Mile nominations is May 1. To nominate someone for an Infinite Mile award click here.
