Delta Upsilon - Social

We at DU are dedicated to making our time at MIT as socially rewarding as possible. That's why each Friday we have themed parties open to the college community of Boston (that's right ladies, this Friday 10 PM...). We also have a semi-annual Message Party, and a yearly brothers only Toga party that is the single most debaucherous night since that time Stoly forgot to take his adderall.

Annual Toga PartyIn addition to our parties, we have many closed private mixers with women's sororities and societies from, Wellesley, Simmons, BU, Northeastern, and Boston College. We also keep up a long tradition of small Thursday night parties in brothers' rooms for invited guests. On the formal side of our social season, we have monthly semi-formal dinners and biannual house formals where brothers can invite dates to the house and enjoy a more intimate atmosphere where it's basically already in the bag.

When DU's hit the town, we do it in style. Whether it's a trip to The Top of The Hub, one of Boston's finest resturants, out to the Medival Manor, or even for a cruise on the Charles River, you can be sure that DU's know how to entertain.

One of our formalsOf course, we always make sure to take advantage of all the opportunities that come from living in Boston, the best college town in the country. Evenings out at comedy clubs, pool halls, theaters, or even jazz concerts on the Esplanade are enjoyed by the entire brotherhood.

After a long day at school and athletic practices, brothers like to relax before hitting the books. Brothers can always be found working out, playing pick up games of basketball or football, or up on our roof deck.
