Stuff I've written about running:
"Running for Fun"
- an essay about my first day of college cross country and rediscovering
my passion for running (posted 11/17/03)
"Magic" - a track
essay about my visit home to my high school's new track (posted
12/01/03)
Lance Armstrong essay - one
of those darned college applications things (posted 12/09/03)
"The Lure" - didn't
write this for any reason really (posted 4/1/04)
Not titled yet - obviously
autobiographical. I'm not trying to hide anything by using "she",
it was just a stylistic choice (posted 5/03/04)
Other:
Running log - Excel spreadsheet
that you can print out; lined up so that if you print it double-sided,
the squares line up and you can cut the sheets in half and bind
it like a book. Working on one that's two pages so that you can
print double-sided automatically. (*When you print, make sure you
specify to only print page 1. For some reason there are two pages
in the document.)
Bio - Brief stats about me
Finish Photo
- A meet that I ran my senior year of high school had the timing
system photos up on their website. The meet was all day long and
only ran distance races, so there were some 300 girls entered in
the 1600, who were divided into about 20 heats. Every heat then,
was really close in time, so each girl had a legitimate shot at
winning her heat, and I won mine.
