Workshop on Linking Knowledge to Action for Sustainable Development
Hosted by the US National Academies Roundtable on Science and Technology for Sustainability

As such, established interests and organizations generally seek to oppose or co-opt such programs. In fact, it’s a wonder than any succeed at all. We list below some characteristics of successful programs that have emerged from our previous workshops, together with questions about these characteristics that we ask participants in this workshop to reflect upon in the context of their own program experience.
