The Master of City Planning is a two-year professional program designed to provide students with the tools and knowledge to be effective urban planning practitioners. Core courses required of all students include: the history and dilemmas of planning as a practice; economic analysis; quantitative reasoning and statistical analysis; and use of information technologies. Some students place out of one or more of these classes by passing an exam.
