Research topic: Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in China’s Residential Sector: Empirical Evidence from Jinan
The research analyzes the relationship between household operational energy consumption and neighborhood form in the Chinese urban context through empirical evidence. Based on data collected from Jinan, China, I design quantitative models to evaluate the impacts of neighborhood physical forms and household socio-demographic characteristics on the energy consumption behavior, and propose policy recommendations to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction in China's residential sector.
