Students of Color Committee
Mission
The
Mission of the Students of Color Committee (SCC) is to encourage and
support a diverse community within the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT) Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP). We
work to educate the student body, staff, and those we work with on the
advantages of diversity within the department and the profession of
planning, as well as to recruit students from diverse backgrounds to
ensure a dynamic educational and professional experience for all.
