The MIT Urban Leadership Forum (ULF) provides an opportunity for MIT graduate students, faculty, and young-professionals in the Greater Boston area to connect with proven urban leaders and to explore the topic of urban leadership.

Spearheaded by students from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning (DUSP), the event first took place in 2005 via the Summer Institute for Urban Leadership. The event drew approximately 200 participants from MIT and the region.

ULF 2006 built on this success with a forum on September 15th and 16th, 2006. Through an alumni reception, keynote addresses, a facilitated leadership exercsise, and two high-quality panels composed of successful urban leaders and leadership experts, ULF 2006 helped participants to develop the leadership skills and knowledge that are necessary to create effective change.

ULF 2007 will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007. We hope that you will join us!

This event would not be possible without the support of the School of Architecture and Planning and the Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
