I was born on 4 July 1986 in Moscow, then a part of the former Soviet
Union. I grew up in Monterey County, California, where I attended York School, a fantastic private school
off of highway 68. I was a Mathematics and Physics double major at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in
Cambridge, Massachusetts. I lived in Senior Haus. I
graduated on 6 June 2008, and am now a graduate student at Columbia
University in the city of New York.
Student Groups I have been a part of:
- Grandmaster (2005-2006), and Vicemaster (2006-2007) of the MIT Assassins' Guild.
- Archivist (2005-2006), and Chief Carnifex (2006-2007) of the Campus Crusade for Cthulhu.
- Senator from Senior Haus (2008) and Coordinator for Information Technology (2005-2006) of the MIT Undergraduate Association.
- Student Member at Large (2006-2007) on the Board of the MIT Association of Student Activities.
- The Shakespeare Ensemble (Fall 2005 - Summer 2008). Here is my member page. In July 2008, I was the lead in Jean-Paul Sartre's Dirty Hands.
- MIT's Stop Our Silence's annual spring production of the Vagina Monologues (2005-2008). I directed the show in February 2008.
- MIT Atheists, Agnostics and Humanists (2007)
- I lead a Tour. You can ask me my Jack name.
It's important to put your money (and your time) where your mouth
is. Here are some groups I've supported with volunteer work and
donations.
In the 2008 election cycle, I supported primary candidate Barack Obama and worked for him in
New Hampshire.
