last changed tue 29 jul 93, see also in techinfo and refs in _tr_: Announcing MIT1962 - E-Mail Network for members and friends of the MIT Class of 1962 We would like to invite all members of the MIT Class of 1962 as well as members of MIT 1959, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1964 and 1965 to join the MIT1962 network. The main purpose of this e-mail network is to promote communication with classmates and friends of our undergraduate class. We will request members of the class to send information to the network that they wish to share with classmates, and we will distribute the unexpurgated versions of our Class Notes as they are submitted to Technology Review for publication in the Alumni News section. The benefit of this is that the e-mail system will give immediate access to the class notes as prepared and you won't have to wait several months for printed publication. You will also be able to feed back to the Class Secretary in a more timely manner and, hopefully, get more rapid response to your request for class information. Subscribe by sending the following message: Sub MIT1962 To: Listserv@mitvma.mit.edu If that doesn't work send a regular e-mail message to hmccarl@engsys.eng.uab.edu or busf038@uabdpo.dpo.uab.edu with the request to be added to the MIT1962 network. Hank McCarl, Secretary, MIT Class of 1962, will be the caretaker of the list. Messages for the Class may be sent to MIT1962@mitvma.mit.edu for screening by Hank and forwarding to the members of the MIT1962 network. Thanks for your interest in MIT1962. We are experimenting with this system for the Alumni Office to determine the benefits and costs of using this network to improve communications with our classmates and friends. Best Regards from MIT1962 - Hank McCarl .
