Judy and Laura didn't get together at the time that text was produced, so they perhaps didn't make note of what we had ready. I have located the text and have included it below. Thanks! We need this Business Manager immediately! - Maynard At 02:36 AM 2/22/96 EST, you wrote: > >send me some text, or shall i use what i now >better noticed judy stitt included in >her note of ... last night. > > - r >. ___________________________________________________________ BUSINESS MANAGER INTERNSHIP -- The MIT Vegetarian Support Group and the Vegetarian Resource Center are co-sponsoring a Vegetarian Food Fest at MIT on May 5, 1996, 10am-6pm. We are seeking someone from the MIT or surrounding community to take on the role of business manager, as well as one or more assistants. All planners of the event are donating their time, but if we get enough sponsors there may be a small amount of money available for an intern. This would be a great opportunity for a student with an interest in organizing large events to put training into practice, and get some experience to put on a resume. Perhaps the department could even be pursuaded to offer course credit. It could also turn into a longer-term situation, as this is planned to be the first of a series of annual events, and we hope to plan the next one much more in advance. The goal of the event is to promote vegetarian food choices, by providing information about vegetarianism as well as appetizing samples of vegetarian cooking and available retail products. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED in participating as a business manager or volunteering in any other capacity, PLEASE CONTACT US: - call our volunteer coordinator, Susan Delaney, at 508-657-5415, or - e-mail us at FoodFair@mit.edu. THANKS!!>
