I am a sophomore at North Attleboro High School in North Attleboro, MA. I have been involved with Science Fair for the past three years. Science Fair is a competitive experience for high school students. Learning hands on about science makes it more interesting. I am currently also involved in a development of a science center in North Attleboro. The first two years I did Science Fair I did a project involving the effects of nutrient depletion in plants using hydroponics. For the past I have been experimenting with the effects of copper ions on the inhibition of photosynthesis. I believe from my research and experiments that copper inhibits the light reactions of photosynthesis, most likely plastocyanin. MichaelMM@AOL.COM R, This the summary you asked for. I am sorry I haven't been up to MIT. If you I have time during my stay up at MIT I will visit. I spoke with Karen Cella about 3 weeks ago and they got funding for the science center. They have a lease on a trailer. I am going to get in touch with her after State Fair and she what else is new. MichaelMM PS -- I have been recieving the E-Club newletters now for the past three or four weeks. THANKS!
