Richard- I can't make it tonight.  You may want to mention the Law of New 
Products course which I will be co-teaching with John Preston, Dan Nyhart, 
Jeff Meldman and others at Sloan.  We will look at intellectual property, 
commercialization strategies, licensing and then a host of liability issues 
in developing and marketing new products.  The class will meet on Tuesdays 
and Thursdays at noon for 1 hour.  Info on locations etc can be had via Dan 
Nyhart at 253-1582.

reminder!  special meeting of the mit entrepreneurs club today,
           6-8pm, in the johnson athletic center.

           meet at the e-club info table at the activities midway
           and bring news of your ongoing or new start-up projects
           to discuss with and inspire especially new mit frosh! as
           well as returning students and other members of
           the mit community.

jason solinsky will be on hand to discuss special e-club activities
designed to introduce frosh to our network and meetings.

joost bonsen will be on hand to discuss the upcoming annual $10k
student competition for best new mit start-up of-the-year.

regular e-club members with new products to display and talk about
will cover a wide range of entrepreneurial topics & issues we cover
weekly e-club meetings and in our for-credit spin-off seminars.

and i'll be there to discuss seminars 089 & 095 on technology start-ups
at mit (our third year teaching this 6-credit undergraduate seminar) and
seminar mas-s01 on real-time video-over-the-net for enhancing networking
for academic, business and social applications (featuring regular,
weekly virtual meetings and monthly face-to-face meetings, with
professor seymour papert, between the media lab and professor papert's
home on the coast of maine, via picture-tel, and other tools, over
his 128kbps isdn net connection.  field trips up-the-coast are also
planned, as well as a look at a variety of other video conferencing tools).
