Mediation is my emphasis. My internship involves setting up a Student Mediation Center. The Dean of Student Developmenthas asked for a Mission Statement. Would you please share your mission statements with us so we may construct our own? Perhaps we could discuss the functions of a mission statement, both from an administrative perspective and from a mediators perspective. If you will, please fax any info regarding your mission statements to the Student Development Office, CUP, Denise Simon c/o Alan James at (412) 938-5959. Any suggestions you may have for a fledgling center would also be appreciated. Thank you, Denise B.
