The training will be conducted by Charles Doran, Program Director, Joshua Jacks, and Gordon Shaw, Esq. This specialized training will focus on the special considerations mediators face when mediating eviction cases; homelessness and property ownership; landlord / tenant relationships; protecting rights and working with the law; the eviction process and the role of mediation. Each trainee will participate in supervised roleplays, exercises and simulations. There will also be guest speakers from the legal and housing communities. The training will take place during the following times at the Quincy District Court Quincy, Massachusetts: Friday, March 24 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, March 25 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 28 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, March 31 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, April 1 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM The fee for the training is $350 and includes all training materials and refreshments.
