lori pressman ('79), a technology licensing officer in mit's technology
licensing office (the tlo), has asked me to post the following job
descriptions to the seminar and e-club lists.  This would be a fine
and rare opportunity for an mit student to get experience in the nation's
highest-ranked university-based patent, licensing and technology transfer 
organisation.  students who met ms. pressman (and lita nelsen, director
of the tlo, and john preston, director of technology development at mit
during their visits to the seminar this past term) should jump at this
chance to continue learning about the work of her office and participate

IAP job opportunity at TLO:

Write a summary of the office activities.  Excellent oral and written
communications skills essential.  Please submit a (short!) writing sample to
Lori Pressman (pressman@mit.edu).

Spring term employment opportunity at TLO:

Assist in marketing of inventions.  Good communications skills, both oral
and written; determination, and sleuthing skills required.  Minimum five
hours per week.
