Spring 2011 Semester:


02/18/2011EASE @ Pulse - At the Pulse show held at Kresge, the president of EASE, Kwami Williams gave a brief presentation about our cause to the audience. We also sold plantains during intermission.



Fall 2010 Semester:


12/3/2010 Fried Plantain Fundraiser - This was our largest plantain fundraiser yet. We sold 5 trays of fried plantains in the MIT Student Center and Stata Center. The plantains were donated by Oasis Restaurant in Medford, MA.



11/5/2010 Fried Plantain Fundraiser - Oasis Restaurant agreed to increase their donation of plantains for EASE fundraisers! We sold 5 trays of fried plantains donated from Oasis Restaurant in Medford, MA. We also gave out 10% VIP discounts for dinner at Oasis to all event participants.



10/22/2010 African Student Association Culture Show - We gave a presentation at the show and raffled off arts and crafts from Ghana.



10/1/2010 Fried Plantain Fundraiser - Continuing with our partnership with Oasis Restaurant, we sold 3 of trays of fried plantains.



Spring 2010 Semester:


EASE Raffle - We sold tickets for a raffle, where participants could win an 8gb Ipod Touch, 12 Megapixel Camera, and $50 gift certificate to a store of their choice. We raised $866.00.



EASEy Bake Sale - We freely gave out pastries and baked goods donated from the Au Bon Pain Restaurants in Central Square, MA and Harvard Square, MA, as well as cookies from the Subway establishment in the MIT Student Center. We asked for people to donate at least $1 as they enjoyed the baked good.



Fried Plantain Fundraiser - We sold 3 trays of fried plantains donated from Oasis Restaurant in Medford, MA.



Fall 2009 Semester:


African Student Association Culture Show- We set up a donation table at the event.



1st Fried Plantain Fundraiser - We sold 2 trays of fried plantains donated from Oasis Restaurant in Medford, MA.



2nd Fried Plantain Fundraiser - We sold 3 trays of fried plantains donated from Oasis Restaurant in Medford, MA.
