The Discovery Center at the Museum of Science in Boston

We at the MIT Early Childhood Cognition Lab are pleased to bring our scientific studies into the community with the help of the Discovery Center. As a part of the Living Laboratory Exhibit we not only run children in our studies, but also focus on educating parents, guests, and museum volunteers about research in cognitive science and child development. Since we began in 2004, we have tested over 900 children in the Discovery Center!!

Boston Children's Museum

ECCL has forged a partnership with the Boston Children's Museum. We have set up a Play Lab on site, which features testing rooms for infant looking time studies as well as free-play exploration studies. The Play Lab will also feature exhibit materials on infant and early childhood cognition.
