Mark Hinds
Mark
is Senior Vice President, Services - North America for dunnhumby. He
spent the first three years of his career at dunnhumby as analyst director on
the Tesco account in London, England. He helped in the development of the
account during its formative phase, and then took up the role of client
solutions director, responsible for the overall service delivery of the entire
dunnhumby business. He has worked on a number of major initiatives, ensuring
dunnhumby’s analytical expertise is a central part of its very own software
toolset.
Mark was instrumental
in the start of dunnhumby’s operations in the United States and its eventual
joint venture with the Kroger Corporation. Mark relocated to the United
States three years ago and has been with dunnhumby for 10 years. Presently,
he is responsible for all services in the United States, Canada and Mexico for
the company.
His previous experience
was firstly within the pharmaceutical sector, and then within the EPoS
(Electronic Point of Sale) company Information Resources, where he honed his
understanding of the retail sector.
His first degree is in
Applied Statistics and his Masters is in Operations Management.
His interests revolve
around the finer things in life, particularly good food. He also enjoys
running and has completed several charity events, including the New York
marathon. Mark is married with a child on the way. Mark and his family
reside in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Paul Hunter
Paul
is Vice President, Services - USA for dunnhumby.
He
joined dunnhumbyUSA in 2003. Paul is responsible for all services within the
US. Paul began his career at dunnhumby on the Kroger account. He also helped
start the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) division. Paul was instrumental in
launching new methodologies to address pricing, promotion and new product
analyses for dunnhumbyUSA’s clients.
Prior to joining dunnhumbyUSA, Paul was Senior Director of Marketing
Information & Analysis at LexisNexis. In addition, Paul spent over a decade
with Information Resources, Inc. (IRI), a syndicated market research firm,
running their analytical divisions in Chicago, London and Cincinnati.
Paul has 16 years of experience in leveraging insight to drive more efficient
business decisions and processes.
His first degree was in
Marketing followed by a Masters in Computer Science and Forecasting.
Paul enjoys spending
time with his wife, Beth, and their two children. He is in active in his
community and coaches little league sports teams. His family resides in
Cincinnati, Ohio.
