Learning International Networks Consortium (LINC)

Professor Richard C. Larson

LINC is a MIT-managed project that started its activities in the year 2003. The purpose of LINC is to help facilitate the implementation of world-class tertiary education in developing countries, leveraging Internet, television and radio technologies. A youth-oriented population demographic, often with two thirds or more of the population being less than 25 years old often characterizes developing countries.
