This course is taught by Prof. Brad Hager. I was the TA for the class for 4 semesters. The class deals with mechanics of deformation of the crust and mantle, with emphasis on the importance of different rheological descriptions: brittle, elastic, linear and nonlinear fluids, and viscoelastic. Introduction to Geology - HSSP 2007HSSP is a summer class for high-school students run by volunteers from the MIT community. On the summer of 2007 My friend Christy Till and I taught an Introduciton to Geology class for 8th grade students. |
