  • Does the change fix a reported bug? If so, who reported the bug?
• What should a log comment not say?
  • Who you are (cvs log will tell me that)
  • The date (cvs log tells me that too)
  • Which lines you changed (cvs diff tells me that)
  • "Made some changes" (duh)
