Beam moments
INTRODUCTION: The goal of the exercise is to reach an equilibrium position when loading a beam. The program let you decide the number of loads to add to a beam and let you decide if you want to position the support or not. In the last case, the program will generate random positions for the supports. When your beam is set up, you can start to load the beam.
HOW TO PLAY:
  • Choose the number of loads.
  • Choose if you want to position the supports or not.
  • Drag and drop the loads on the beam.
  • Try to position the loads so that you don't go over the maximum moment.
  • The graphical moment of your beam can guide you to achieve an equilibrium position.
  • Click on the GO Again Button to start again with a possible different configuration.
